INFORMATIONEN:
Eddie Harra (CH/Indonesien)
EddiE haRA is among the Indonesian contemporary artists, and he, in his own ways, has succeeded in discovering a visualization type that eventually led to the birth of a "new genre" by including the wildness and innocence of children`s drawing, or streetart - in other word: the generic raw art -in his works. With this, EddiE`s works keep dealing with various themes and the sub-culture mindset: from environment deteriotation through the absurdity of contemporary people`s life.
Lately, his works have been showing more similarities with street murals, seemingly made by doodling and involving minimal application of colors.
To those diligently monitoring his artistic career, as a street artist, EddiE haRA obviously has several main characters or figures to appear in his works: the jellyfish, the squid, the rabbit, the hat-wearing shoe/boot, and the human skull - all of them may fly and somersaulting on his canvas. EddiE haRA`s paintings characterisically blend children`s mischievous fantasies and the wildness of urban street life
