Los Boozan Dukes

French Creole and growled through a broken gramophone by the great-great grandson of a West Texas preacher, backed by a rabble of calypso harmonies, singing praise for the mythical soul-saving cure-all-wine Sangre de pavo.

Based in Barcelona, the band is fronted by the gruff vocals and new Orleans-y trumpet of Professor Zelig J. Zeljkovic (a.k.a Boozán Dukes), and plays his original compositions and arrangements. Inspired by 1940s New Orleans French Creole swing, Los Boozan Dukes play mix of old-timey and original lindy-hoppable swing, stomp and voodoo blues. Available for concerts, birthdays, bar-mitzvahs, weddin funerals.
